If you have suffered recently form a flood there maybe? a grant available from the government to help install flood resilient measures to your property.
The best thing to do is contact your local council who will be able to let you know if there is one available for you and how to go about claiming it.
FLOOD DIVERT BARRIERS, unfortunately our barriers are no longer BSI Kitemarked, this is because BSI changed the standard by incorporating an impact test. Due to BSI not providing us with a facility large enough to test the barriers to the new standard we have had to with draw them from the scheme.
Our barriers are tested to the previous PAS 1188 standard offering protection in one single piece up to 2534mm wide x 1015mm high to a designated maximum water depth of 840mm. The Flood Divert Barrier is probably the lightest, quickest and easiest barrier to install available on the market. No tools required, no fiddly bolts, just drop the barrier in slide the clamp in and throw the lever and your done, it literally takes seconds to do, see the video on the Flood Divert barrier section.
FLOOD DIVERT GATES, unfortunately again due to the standard changing with the new impact test and the fact that BSI cannot supply us with a facility large enoughto test our gates we have had to withdraw from the BSI scheme.
The gates are tested to the previous standard PAS 1188, The single pedestrian gates are tested to 1.2m (4ft) wide and the pairs of gates are tested to 4m (13ft) wide.
Both our single Flood Divert Gate and the pairs of Flood Divert Gates have passed the PAS 1188 standard testing set out by the previous BSI (British Standard institute) and have successfully passed the tests.
By far using Flood Divert Gates is the best way to prevent your property from flooding, if you can stop the water at the boundary it is better than stopping it at the door, as it allows time to pump any water away that may be around before it even reaches your door.

- prevent water from short, shallow flooding from getting into the building
- delay flood water from getting into the building if flooding is more severe, giving you extra time to move your possessions to safety and evacuate
- limit the damage to walls, floors, fixtures and fittings if flood water gets into the building
- make it easier, faster and cheaper to clean up and dry out, so that you can get your life back to normal as soon as possible.
